Aug 21, 2020
Pacific Place Mall handed over sacrificial animals in the commemoration of Eid Al-Adha which falls on July 31, 2020, to Jami Nurul Hidayah Mosque in Selong Village, to be distributed to people who in needs.
The delivery of sacrificial animals was carried out after the handover of sacrificial animals from Artha Graha Peduli (AGP) to each business unit two days before Eid Al-Adha at Lot 7 – SCBD. Meanwhile, the slaughter and distribution process were carried out on Saturday, 1 August, one day after Eid Al-Adha.
During this pandemic, many people are in dire need of assistance, and Eid Al-Adha becomes a perfect moment to share with one another. The handover and slaughtering are ensured to comply with health protocols recommended by the government, such as maintaining the distance, using masks and/or face shields and gloves as well as prohibition to make crowds.
This activity has a wider meaning instead of as a charity action, this is an effort of the Corporate Responsibility program to maintain a sustainable good relationship with external stakeholders, especially with the closest people to our operational company. This is the part of implementation of our commitment to sustainability “Pacific Place Care for Community” along with several CSR programs in Selong Village that are still existed until now, such as Urban Farming and Lavender Waste Bank, which have been done since 2017.
